New cutting method to aid performance of graft-to-graft aortic anastomosis

Abstract

In graft-replacement surgery of the ascending aorta and aortic arch, 2 separate grafts are frequently needed in order to construct a more physiologically configured aorta. We describe a new cutting method for accurate performance of graft-to-graft anastomosis. © 2015 by the Texas Heart ® Institute, Houston.
