We have recently read with great interest the article by Farzaneh et al.1 entitled “Safety of thrombolytic therapy in patients with prosthetic heart valve thrombosis who have high international normalized ratio levels.” The authors reported the study of efficacy and safety of fibrinolytic therapy at elevated international normalized ratio (INR) in patients with prosthetic valve thrombosis (PVT).1
