Çorum’da liselerde felsefe öğretiminin felsefe öğretmenleri açısından değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Felsefe, evren ve insanla ilgili tüm sorunların tartışıldığı bir alandır. Kelime anlamı ‘bilgeliği sevme’ olarak anlam bulan felsefenin, eğitim öğretim sürecinde nasıl aktarıldığı önemli bir konudur. Bu bağlamda Türkiye’de zorunlu eğitim kapsamında 11. sınıfta okutulan felsefe dersinin, öğrencilerin zihin dünyasında nasıl yer bulduğu ve felsefeye nasıl bir anlam yüklendiği, felsefenin kelime anlamı olan “bilgeliği sevme” düzeyinde bir farkındalık yaratıp yaratmadığı bir soru olarak karşımızda durmaktadır. Felsefe öğretiminde izlenen metotlar ve öğrencilerin felsefe dersine yaklaşımları, verilen eğitimin kalitesiyle doğrudan irtibatlıdır. Bu bildiride, Çorum İl merkezindeki çeşitli Liselerde görev yapan Felsefe grubu öğretmenleri ile yapılan görüşme ve mülakatlardan hareketle, öğrencinin hazırbulunuşluğu, ders kitaplarının mahiyeti ve öğretmenlerin yeterliği hususları felsefe öğretimi üzerinden incelenmiştir.

Philosophy is a space for the discussion of all the problems of the universe and humans. Literally, it means 'love of wisdom'. It is an important issue that how philosophy course isthought in the education process. In this regard, philosophy course is in the 11th grade curriculum in compulsory education in Turkey. Methods of philosophy teaching and approaches of the students to the philosophy courses are directly connected with the quality of the education. In this paper, I have interviewed with Philosophy teachers who served in various high school at the Çorum. The student's readiness, quality of course books and teachers' competence issues are discussed through the teaching philosophy with reference to the findings of the field
